If you’re a wedding venue or photographer and would like us to feature one of your real weddings on our blog just follow these easy steps:

Email across 500 words of original text to our Social Media Manager, Benita, who’ll format it together into a blog. The tone of our blogs are chatty, fun and easy to read (and did I mention that we love a pun?!) please keep your submission in line with this. Unfortunately we’re unable to accept any work that we consider to be advertorial.

In your write up include the main details about the real wedding such as the Bride and Groom’s name, the date of their wedding, why they chose your venue/photography and what you can offer potential couples.

The photographs can be shared using the file sharing websites Dropbox or WeTransfer.

All of the photos will need to be a minimum width of 1000 pixels and must not have any watermarks on them.

By uploading your pictures you are agreeing that you have the owners and the couples permission, and accept that we will use them to promote your listing/ business and our website. Photographs cannot be retrospectively withdrawn.

For wedding venues we will include links to your listing on WeddingVenues.com on all of the photographs and throughout the text.

If there are any suppliers you have used and mentioned in your blog please include their details so we can link them too.

For wedding photographers WeddingVenues.com will include two links to your website in the text and a short bio about your business at the end of the piece. Please note it’s your responsibility to provide the information and a photograph for us to use.

And finally…

We’re only able to feature real wedding blogs from our paying venues on WeddingVenues.com, to check this out search for the venue and have a look on the listing to see if there is show phone number, venue website and email venue tabs (have a look below):

Please make sure that you have permission from the wedding venue, the photographer and the couple before you upload any work.

The contributor will be emailed a preview of the finished blog and they’ll be able to impose one set of amends.

WeddingVenues.com reserves editorial control over the final piece and we will promote the blog across our social media channels. Why not have a look at our real weddings section for some inspiration.

For all inquires and submissions please send them to benita@weddingvenues.com.
